Mama'

Mama' and her three puppies are fosters with us from an animal shelter.  Mama' went into labor at the shelter and required an emergency C-section.  She and her newborns needed a safe, nurturing environment and we were happy to provide it!  After several hours of labor, anesthesia and surgery Mama' slept for several hours and woke up wondering where she was and who was this human caring for her but she seemed grateful for the care, calm surroundings and her puppies.  She has developed a responsive, loving relationship with all humans in the house, wiggling her entire body when she sees us.
