Jewel

Jewel, the dog who was born and grew up at a shelter. At one year of age she was withdrawn and fearful, attempting to hide in the back of her kennel.  Her behavior prevented potential adopters from being interested in her and she was "shutting down".  When we brought her home to Full Circle Farm she had never been in a home with its strange sounds.  The beeping of the microwave sent her into a panic and she attempted to find a hiding place.  She was friendly with other dogs but petrified of humans. She has been with us for over three years and will now bring us her dog toys with a wagging tail for praise and will nudge us to be petted.
