Cora

Cora, the goat came from a neglectful situation where she was under-fed and bred at too young an age. She came to Full Circle Farm shortly before delivering triplets. One was still born, and the other two were small and thin. Cora seemed confused by the birthing process and had no interaction with her goat kids. She did allow us to milk her and and feed the kids her colostrum soon after birth. With teaching and encouragement she became attentive to her kids and began to let them nurse. Cora, Cream and Sundae live with their female goat herd but can still be found eating, sleeping, and relaxing together.  Theirs is a strong bond.
