Rescuing pets has been a decades long hobby, working individually or with humane societies and rescue organizations. Moving to New Mexico in 2010 created the opportunity to purchase a home with acreage and expand to livestock rescue. In 2024 we acknowledged that if we were a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization we would be able to serve more animals, so we did! Any gifts or donations are tax deductible.
To date, our livestock has included mules, donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, alpacas and llamas. Our pets have been dogs, cats, parakeets, cockatiels, guinea pigs and hamsters. We also work cooperatively with other nonprofit organizations to foster or facilitate care for their rescued animals.
